New LO's to share

I stumbled across this little site last night and thought I would give their challenge a go. It was to create a layout with warm colours, a flourish and using bling.
I have used K&Co Que sera sera patterned paper, my new punch and some Kaiser bling on the flower and the side of the photo and added my little flourish too..
I even added "water" droplets to the flowers ...

Over at Challenge Heaven, we had to do a LO with this awesome sketch

I have had these photos forever and loved them but never had the "right" pp's, finally found this Prima paper with crocodiles (his fav!!), umbrellas and raindrops ... PERFECT!! The other beautiful papers are WAMK and sassafras

Close up

more close up of my fluffy silver lined clouds and flower "sun"!!

Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment!!! Back to tending to the animals... school holidays.... urgh!

Catch up of layouts

Hi everyone!! Thought I might give you all a catch up of what I have been up to before I entered cyberspace.
Grab yourself a cuppa because there are plenty to look at and this is only the beginning!!

Over at Scrapboutique I joined the postcard competition where we had to create layouts influenced by different countries. I absolutely loved this challenge as it made me really think outside my comfort zone ... hope they do it again soon, it was so much fun!

Here are my Layouts

France - loved all the soft feminine colours:

Greenland:- I have never seen snow but the cool colours reminded me of ice and snow

India : warm spice colours and bright colours of saris and of course bling!!

Japan ( well I went to China... mix up with the flight!!) Photo is of my Dad and my daughter who share a birthday and a special relationship. She can do no wrong in his eyes!!!
USA:- My beautiful DS#1 - I won a prize for this one!!!
Italy - My husband is Italian so it seemed only fair to use our wedding photos in this one!!Love these photos of my DD copying her older brothers and trying to do a wee outside standing up ( the trouble of having only one toilet in the house!!) This LO was for a sketch challenge at Scrapability
Another one for Scrapability

Colour challenge on Scrap the Girls - love this photo of this crazy girl!!

One of my favourite LO's

Scrapability Soup challenge - my son on his birthday - the photo captures his face when he saw he had received a drum kit as a gift after asking for well over 6 months

Photos of my DS#2 when he had his beautiful long curls chopped off to make him look like a boy (he is very pretty and would have made a very pretty girl ... Shhh)

Love this one of my beautiful DD, this photo is one of my favourites even though she is not smiling.

Kraft It Up - we had to create our own patterned background

Scrapboutique - June challenge was to use symbols - love this photo of my little monsters playing in the back yard. They share a real special bond and always have fun together ( well... nearly always!!)

Had enough??? Plenty more where these came from!!!

Off to scrap another one to share. Thanks for stopping by!!! ... until next time.....

Want to win this??? I DO

Over at Eb's Space you can leave her a message (and check out her awesome work while you are there) and have a chance to win these flowers that her Mummy makes for all of us girls who cant get enough of crochet flowers..... hope I win. Here is a layout I created for Challenge Heaven's June Cyber Crop. This is Amanda's Challenge. We had to use layers and a picture of people in wintery clothes. Here is my DD playing with water on a cold day outside. Seriously... where is her mother?? Water play is for warmer days isn't it?

Below is another layout I want to share with you. A LO I completed for Challenge Heaven. This one is for Jas's MAYMADNESS challenge last month

DT Tryouts again...and a bit of bragging

I have been busy creating for all the wonderful sites I visit hoping to land myself a possie with a design team... no luck so far but a BIG congrats to my bestie JAS for making it as a design team member for challenge heaven. Well done to Jas, Kylie and Sheree for landing a spot and I cant wait to see what you have in store for us in the future.

Over at Scrap The Girls, the challenge for a DT position was to create a LO about parties.
Something nice and bright.
Didn't have too many photos of DD by herself on this morning, everything seems to be rushed on Birthday mornings and the excitement is way too much to sit still while mum sets up the perfect "Scrapbook" photo. Still cross your fingers for me....

And now for a bit of bragging... I did win a competition with Scrapbooking Memories magazine as the winner of the ScrapQuest competition!!!. I will keep you all posted as to when my LO will be on the front cover, hope I don't have to wait too long. Have a look for yourself here.

First Layout post

Here is my first layout post!!

I completed this layout for Kraft it Up where the requirements were for a minimalist layout. All the entries are absolutely stunning. Go and check them out.

Here is mine - my gorgeous daughter being crazy and running around while I was trying to take a photo of her, love the result, and this LO is special to me as the computer ate the original photo so this is the only one I have. TFL!!!

Were not in Kansas anymore....

Well I've never been to Kansas but I have never been in cyberspace either!!!
This is soo exciting and I have absolutely no idea what I am doing but I did create this background all by myself!! It will probably change every week because I cant decide what colour to use!!!
Well today is Tuesday so I am free of all kidlets until 1:30 today so I had better get this Zoo in some kind of order... on yer bikes... and thanks for visiting.
