Paperific Expo Layouts for Sammi

Last weekend I had the honour of having my work displayed by the lovely Sammi from Mad for Markers at the Melbourne Paperific Expo.
Sammi had airbrushed paper doilies and I had to use them in a layout.

The first LO is of my little sister and my brand new niece Charlee on the day she was born. Charlee is now 3 weeks old and oh-so -squishy cute with little cheeky dimples like her daddy and she was a whopping 10.5lbs born so she is very chunky and cute (love a chubby bubby!!!). So nice to have a new baby in the family that I can cuddle and pass back....
Anyway I have used soft coloured doilies and prima papers in the same shades as the doilies and lots of pink for little Charlee. The title is "She has been waiting for you her whole life" as Tammy has... she has been collecting baby clothes and toys for as long as I can remember and has been a Nanny for weeny little babies all over the world since she was 15 years old, and is still in childcare now... so proud of her for for putting up a fight and being in labour for 72 hours straight without a break between contractions longer than 10 minutes.... my goodness... I'm telling you, watching my little sister in labour for that long as REALLY turned me off having another baby....... sorry Anth, but no more.........
I also made these wood art blocks using the doilies......
And another layout for the expo. This is a photo of my gorgeous DD when she was only 9 months old wearing her christening dress. Happy with how this LO turned out. did you notice my misting???? OH YEAH!!!! Again beautiful colours from the doilies matched easily to the papers.
Thanks Sammi for the honour of having my work displayed :)

until next time.....

Well this is an old photo and its one one of my very favourite photos of my little man looking all cute and innocent with snot and all.
I have used lots and lots of goodies from Sam at Old Favourites. She is having a sale right now on alot of her stock so you should go and have a look and pick up a bargain while you are there!!
I have used a bingo card, a playing card, vintage monopoly card, vintage dress making alteration tag and lots of little tidbits that are all so cute and funky!!
